In the Legion of Superheroes justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: Brainiac 5 who’s too tight ass for his own good, who investigate crime; and Superboy, who means well but is really a pretty crappy defense lawyer. These are their stories.

It seems the Legion of Super-Heroes should have skipped Superboy and recruited Philip J. Fry instead.

These heart-wrenching facts, NEVER BEFORE TOLD, are revealed for the FIRST…and LAST time in: “Superboy’s Darkest Secret!”
The salient words in the above in this opening to a story from Superboy # 158 published in 1969 that revealed that Jor-El and Lara not only survived the explosion of Krypton, but are alive in suspended animation in orbit around the Earth being, “for the first and last time” in other words after this we’re kicking it out the door and forgetting it ever appeared.
I think the storyline is at present sharing an apartment somewhere just outside of Hub City with 10th level Heavenly Helpmate Mopee who gave the Silver-Age flash his powers.
