Covers dedicated to making you stop and say… “wait a minute… wha???”

Loveable Harvey Comics had some of the more horrific horror covers during the hey of the horror comics.

And Yes, Foreskin Man was a real comic, not a parody or something but done in dead seriousness by the people who put out its three issue run. It was produced as an anti-circumcision rant and was every bit as rude as you might imagine it being, practically in the one depicted here where he battles an evil moil.

I guess in any line-up of six heroes, one is headed for a dusty death… sorry Ultra-Man.

Promo from Superman # 4, the REAL Superman # 4.

Who says Batman stopped using guns after the first dozen stories?
This incident taking place in the museum of The Bullet Hole Club an (I assume) wealthy gentleman’s club in which all of the members had to have survived being shot at but gotten a bullet hole in their clothing. I say wealthy because otherwise how could they have afforded to have bought and melted down half a dozen battleships to get the metal to make the giant handguns for their museum making it possible for Batman & Robin to go bouncing around on them later.

P.S. trapped his leg? Shouldn’t that be turned the bones in his leg into mush?
