Comic book advertisement for the Baby Ruth candy bar from 75 years ago, note the companion candy bar to the Baby Ruth the “Jolly Jack,” one forth of a pound of sugar for a nickel!
Perhaps a better name for it would have been Adult Onset Diabetes Dan, but that would have been hard to fit on the wrapper without being in type so small it would have been hard to read.
